Transformers Cyberverse Arcee (Legion Class)

Presenting the Legion Class Arcee from the Transformers Prime Cyberverse Toyline.

Recently the local market has been flooded with Optimus Maximus battle-stations. I thought that it was cool that Optimus Maximus was here, but noted that there were no Cyberverse Legion Class figures in the market to man the station.

A few days ago, while walking down a small side-stall in Toys R' Us in Galleria, disgruntled that there was apparently nothing new, I saw them: A few Transformers Prime Cyberverse figures. I'm not sure why the quantities were so small, or why these particular figures were hidden and not on the more prominent display racks, but here they were.

This particular figure of the Autobot's "Stealth Fighter" Arcee, which stands a mere 2.6 inches tall - not counting her flaring shoulder blades - is from that tiny selection.

The Transformers Prime Cyberverse Arcee Stealth Fighter's Blister card reads: "Arcee is fast, smart and always ready for a fight. Her blasters might not pack the punch of the bigger Autobots, but her incredible fighting skill more than make up for anything she lacks in firepower."

Her blister card says nothing about her being a Cybertronian Scout, or Optimus Prime's go-to-gal when he has something that needs doing, but it does accurately describe how the Transformers Prime Arcee was meant to be - a quick, quiet and efficient killer.

What's to like about the Transformers Cyberverse Arcee (Legion Class)?

It's hard to believe that something so tiny is still so incredibly detailed.

Some of the really nice detailing that she has includes the fact that she has a mouth; You can clearly see and make out the Autobot logo on her right breast, and;  the fact that she has both hands and blade extensions like her larger counterpart (Transformers Prime: Arcee Deluxe Class) - though these blades are now underneath her hands instead of on the sides of her arms.

Articulation is admittedly limited - no elbows and neither her head nor torso will turn unlike her larger Deluxe counterpart but she's still decently pose-able.  There's even room to add an extension to her snap-on blaster as it has a slot on top of it:

Her bike mode is also decently detailed as you can make out the detailing of the front brake-discs (?). Transformers Cyberverse Arcee's bike mode does not have a kick-stand, instead two spoke from her knees automatically support the bike from behind.

What's NOT to like about the Transformers Cyberverse Arcee (Legion Class)?

I honestly wish she could do more in terms of articulation but I suppose there's only so much that you could demand from something so small. The biggest problem that I have with the Transformers Cyberverse Arcee is that her snap on blaster's peg is too big for either hole on the sides of her bike mode. You will have to shave the blaster should you want it to be mounted properly on Arcee's side.

The Transformers Cyberverse Arcee (Legion Class) is available on Amazon for US$ 7.35 (PhP 316.05 plus shipping). Arcee was purchased at Toys R'Us Galleria here in the Philippines at a retail price of PhP 369.75 (US$ 8.60).

We leave you know with some G.I. Joe Grindhouse comedy:
