Presenting Jedi Master Quinlan Vos from the Star Wars Vintage Collection.
Jedi Master Quinlan Vos is one of the more interesting Jedi to come out of the fallen Republic. He's actually one of the few "Gray" Jedi - or Jedi that don't quite adhere strictly to the rulings of the Jedi Council and who prefer to follow their own path or to those Jedi that dance between the light and dark. The so-called "Gray" Jedi include Jedi Masters Qui-Gon Jinn, Jolee Bindo, Jacen Solo and the Imperial Knights.
They're modern day Ronin - Master-less Samurai.
Jedi Master Quinlan Vos is most renown for having mastered Form VII of lightsaber combat - also known as Vaapad - a style that required the use of both Dark and Light-side Force techniques; training Jedi Master Aayla Secura, and; for falling to the Darkside - but came back.
He's also one of the few - if not the only - Clone War era Jedi to use a blaster.

Fall of Cybertron Starscream
Presenting the Transformers Fall of Cybertron Starscream.
I really did find it a lot of fun to take control of this pontificating windbag in a video-game.
Though to be honest I felt like Starscream was running around like someone had kicked him in the gonads in the FOC videogame - but he did have such a happy "Mario Brothers" gait - I suppose with Megatron "Dead" and the entirety of Cybertron at his feet, he had a lot to be happy about.
But I have to say he was dreadfully difficult to fly - or maybe it's because you spend so much time playing as a first person shooter, that suddenly switching to a flight simulator type game makes it difficult.
Still really cool.

Abby Poblador as Yoko Littner
Presenting Ms. Abby Poblador dressed as Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann - known in Japan as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (literally "Heaven-Piercing Gurren Lagann"), a Japanese mecha anime television series from 2007.
That was a mouthful.
While I kinda doubt if Gurren Lagann will go down the annals of history as the greatest anime ever made, it did leave an impression on the entirety of geekdom by introducing a red headed, doe-eyed babe clad in a flaming bikini top and skin tight leather shorts with curves in all the right places: The Gun-toting markswoman, Yoko Littner.
Now thanks to the more than ample bosom of Philippine Playboy Playmate, FHM Babe, and certified Premiere Vixen Abby Poblador - and the lens and vision of photographer Allan Melivo - we have what is probably the best real-life interpretation of what Yoko Littner, the future school principal, looks like (Yes she becomes a school principal).

Marvel Universe: Punisher
Presenting the Punisher from the Marvel Universe Toy Line Series 1.
Ah... Apparently this is supposed to be some kind of rare Marvel Universe figure that - surprise - sells for US$ 29.99 on Amazon (Roughly PhP 1,260 plus shipping).
I picked it up from the Department Store of Robinson's Galleria for PhP 499.75 (Roughly US$ 11.89.
Having opened it, I really have to say, I'm not so sure what all the fuss is about. People and forums keep saying that it has something to do with the "white gloves", but I honestly don't remember seeing a Punisher with "Black gloves"
I'm wondering if it's because I'm not really a fan of the Punisher - though I do have to admit that I liked the version done by Ray Stevenson followed by the Punisher played by Thomas Jane.

Dark Lord Dungeon Toy of the Year 2012
The Award |
The award - that you see on your right (I wonder if anyone can identify exactly what - or who - this is?) is given to the toy that not only has "Given me the most joy" but has given the visitors the most joy as well by garnering a high-amount of page views as well.
This review will go through the past twelve months and recap the best and brightest toys that we've reviewed over the past year. At the end of the review, we will award this year's Toy of the Year.
Now the Toy of the Year Award cannot be given to the Cosplayers who have graced our pages as they ARE NOT TOYS!!! Mind your manners.
