Lego Flash KO

Presenting a KO version of a LEGO DC Character, the Flash.

We at the Dungeon are actually HUGE Flash fans. Specifically we are HUGE HUGE HUGE!!!! Barry Allen fans.

We are not fans of that horrible pretender, that clown, Wally West - who as far as we are concerned should never return to the DC universe, EVER!!!!

AAaanyway, we're actually wondering why it took us this look to feature a Flash figure.

So yeah, it kinda feels bad that the first Flash figure we chose to feature is a Knock-Off.

But he's just sooo cool!!!!

In the LEGO movie the Flash made an appearance in the first siege of the Octan Tower by Metalbeard where he was "supposedly" killed by an army of Laser Sharks.

Anyway, what we have here is a Decool Super Heroes "The Flash" figure. The blister card says a very cryptic "Maintain World Peace. Fight for Justice" in one of the most boring fonts ever. We're not sure what it means or who they are talking about.

Based upon the Lego wiki, the only difference between the Decool version and the real Lego version is the addition of "lightning streaks."

There is also this card that mentions the Flash's statistics as:

  • Speed: 10
  • Fighting Skills: 4
  • Strength: 6
  • Agility: 7
  • Health: 7
We have a similar card for Batman which lists all his statistics at 10.

What's to like about the Decool Lego Flash KO?

First off: The price. The Decool Lego Flash KO cost me PhP 50 - or less than a US$ 1. If you actually go to the source of the black-market in Manila, you could get him for PhP 20 or roughly .44 cents US$.

It's a price you can't beat for something which looks original. The only thing the Decool Lego Flash KO does not have, is the LEGO Trademark

As with the original LEGO Flash, the Decool Lego Flash KO comes with a head that you can spin around so that you either have a "Happy/Content" Flash, or a "Quite distraught Flash" (A green joke comes to mind involving a toilet).

We're sure you can work out the "Flash" joke on your own.

Articulation is.... well it's LEGO, what do you expect? It's typical for a LEGO. We really love the additional "lightning" streaks:

What's NOT to like about the Decool Lego Flash KO?

It's fake. That's about it. In it's simplicity, LEGO is easy enough to copy. I suppose we'd love to have an original in the Dungeon, but they're so overpriced. You can't beat a Dollar (Or less) for a figure of this quality and cuteness.

As mentioned, this particular Decool LEGO Flash KO was purchased PhP 50 - or less than a US$ 1 - in the Black Market of St. Francis Square here in Manila. An original LEGO DC Batman - "The Flash" figure (He first appeared in the DC Batman Lego game) - will set you back US$ 22.99 (Roughly PhP 1,034.55 plus shipping) in Amazon.

We think we'll stick to the Decool KO's

  1. I have seen these popping up on eBay and was wondering about the quality. At first glance, it would be hard to tell this was a knockoff (just from the pictures at least.)
