After I posted my Green Lantern collection, I realized that I had not posted ALL of my Green Lanterns and I had actually left out one of the most powerful bad-guys in the universe, Parallax. So here is Part 2 of my Green Lantern Collection featuring Jade from Alex Ross' Kingdom Come (Look out for the much younger version in the Brightest Day release in August of this year), the Yellow Lantern Corp leader Sinestro, and Hal Jordan as Parallax (From the DC Green Lantern series, art by Ethan Van Sciver).
The Kingdom Come Green Lantern: AKA Jennifer-Lynn Hayden formerly known as Jade. She is the daughter of Allan Scott who, in the Kingdom Come series, decides to side with Batman's "Outsiders" rather than Superman's Justice League alongside her brother Obsidian - despite the fact that her father had joined the Justice League also under the name Green Lantern. Jade is Earth's first female Green Lantern having been granted a power-ring in her youth. The ring was lost to her in her death and she does not bear one now. As Allan Scott's daughter, she was born with the ability to manipulate the energies of the Star Heart sans any ring or power battery.
And just like most female Green Lanterns, she likes to put emphasis on her bosom. Must be some secret tactical power of the female Green Lanterns. Also she seems to be stuck in a dancer's pose. Why I'm not sure.

Sinestro: I've always found Sinestro to be somewhat relate-able as a character - especially since I have to drive in the Philippines. In essence he's an intelligent person stuck on permanent road rage who can't stand the stupidity of the peasants that he encounters everyday and just wants to bring order to the universe - through sheer willpower, or by getting everyone to fear him. To paraphrase Yulaw from "The One" Sinestro finds the universe messy and irrational. He just wants to make it neat.
So one can really understand his frustration with the "Cowboy" attitude of Hal Jordan who has riled him since taking him under his wing when Hal became the Earth's Green Lantern. The frustration has left him emaciated and his head is starting to swell due to a massive coronary - this part of course isn't true, but you have to love the figure being true to Sinestro being tall, lanky and.... with a head worthy of at least two brains.
But take note, he's no berserker angry guy. He's a cold calculating killer. There's an order to his madness. I think the biggest proof of this is the fact that apparently all the Yellow Rings respond to him. This allowed him to defeat his usurper, Mongul, whom he's still torturing - there's a certain sense of sadism in this one. He really has no care for the value of the lives of those he considers to be beneath him. A good example of this is further reflected in his wikipedia entry which describes Sinestro's contribution to the demise of the Freedom Fighters in Infinite Crisis "Sinestro begins the fight by blowing a hole through the chest of the second Black Condor, killing him instantly. He then defeats Uncle Sam, leaving him for dead"
Currently he's put aside his petty squabble with Jordan in order to figure out the secret of the White Lantern - incidentally, Sinestro also is the first White Lantern - but you can rest assured, he has a plan.
He is the father of Soranik Natu current Green Lantern of Korugar - therefore his successor - with Arin Sur - sister of Abin Sur (The guy who gave Hal Jordan his first ring). With Allan Scott, he is also the only other Green Lantern in my possession who is left handed.
Parallax: Last but not least, one of the biggest bad-guys in the DC universe, Hal Jordan. This is actually one of my favorite sculpts. I've always preferred Hal Jordan with the premature gray hair. I found that look to have more bearing. And of course, who doesn't like capes?
The only thing I don't like about this figure would be the articulation which is really poor. Given the time, one of my future intended projects would be to take a Marvel Legends Magneto and re-sculpt him into Parallax. The ML Magneto figure radiates pure anger but is very regal at the same time which is very Parallax.
Now before you go thinking why the primal manifestation of fear was able to take over an anger filled Green Lantern, let us remember the words of the great Master Yoda: "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering." And there was much fear in Hal Jordan.
But you have to love how he singlehandedly destroyed the Corp.
