NECA Batman Arkham City Harley Quinn

"I promised you some entertainment, right, boys?"

The NECA Batman Arkham City Harley Quinn is one of the coolest and hottest looking toys from the video game.

We have mixed feelings about the Batman Arkham City game given that it ended with the death of the Joker - that's not a spoiler, if you don't know that you probably shouldn't be here.

Other than that it was a great game!

And we're quite partial to this particular outfit. Arkham Assylum game us Harley Quinn in a nurse outfit, which does satisfy certain fetishes we may have had, but in our opinion, this red and black punk rock outfit is more fitting for someone who would later command the remains of Joker's Clown Army.

Batman - Adam West - has passed away

By ABC Television - eBay front back, Public Domain, Link

The Batman many of us grew up with, Adam West, has sadly passed away.

@therealadamwest confirmed the death of Batman by tweeting "Our beloved AW passed away last night. He was the greatest. We'll miss him like crazy. We know you'll miss him too - West Family"

The cause of death seems to be Leukemia. Adam was 88 years old.

We at Dark Lord Dungeon offer our prayers to the family and to the soul of this great man who gave us countless hours of animated fight scenes, rope climbing, sliding down the Batpole, and for giving us the most ingenious and cool ways of getting around town.

We forgive him for donning board shorts and taking Batman surfing. In costume.

Thank you Adam West. Rest in Peace

Justice League "Come Together" trailer.

The new Justice League Trailer is out and it is awesome:

• Really digging Aquaman's attitude. Make no mistake, this is not the guy the Justice League leaves behind because they aren't going to fight in water.
• The team seems to be coalescing well in combat
• Gal Gadot is as beautiful as ever.
• Lots of cameos - Mera, Barry's dad, Commissioner Gordon, Lois etc...
• Cyborg's CGI looks iffy.
• The Flash is a bit effeminate.
• Aerosmith's Come Together was a nice touch.

Let's just hope that this trailer doesn't lead to another Suicide Squad.

Check out this really cool poster as well:

Mafex BVS Wonder Woman Action Figure

The only member of the DC Trinity who actually
stood toe-to-toe with the Cave Troll

Welcome to a review of the Mafex BVS Wonder Woman Action Figure from Medicom.

Would you believe that this particular figure was purchased in 2015 prior to the release of Batman vs Superman, and just arrived a week ago?

Never again.

Anyway, this is Mafex's recreation of Wonder Woman as portrayed by the beautiful Gal Gadot in the mess that is Batman vs Superman.

Personally we felt that Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman was one of THE best things to come from BvS, and we're really looking forward to her solo movie this year - despite the recent criticisms which have shifted from the sizeof her breasts to her apparent lack of underarm hair.

SH Figuarts Suicide Squad Harley Quinn Action Figure Review

 I got you a kitty.

Presenting a review of the SH Figurarts Suicide Squad Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) Action Figure.

Check out our thoughts on the DC movie that rated lower than BvS on Rotten Tomatoes by clicking here - we actually liked most of it.

Anyway, so this is SH Figurarts attempt to give collectors their very own Margot Robbie action figure to play with. We're really grateful that other companies have taken up the slack after DC released that rather traumatizing version of Harley Quinn through Mattel (Which looked like a Chinese knock-off).

At this point we're wondering if anybody is reading this stuff. You know who Margot Robbie is. You know who Harley Quinn is. So we can actually write anything here and you'd still be scrolling to check out how hot she is.

Justice League Movie Ezra Miller Flash Uniform

The Flash: All tied up

This image of Ezra Miller as the Flash for the upcoming DC Justice League uniform has hit the internet, and it looks like crap in our opinion. Ignoring the damage, it looks like it's being held together by wire.

WTF DC!!!!???

Dark Lord Dungeon 2016 Toy of the Year

Welcome to the Dark Lord Dungeon 2016 Toy of Year award! 2016 was a rough year for us, filled with soul-searching and new directions - all for the good. There were dark times. You'll note that there is no entry in August because we wanted to shut down this blog in August. The Higher Powers said no, so here we are. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Thank you for continuing to be a part of our journey. Here's to a great 2017!

This year's finalists

Wonder Woman versus Wolverine - Alternate Ending

Bat-in-the-Sun finally released the alternate ending to the very controversial - and having watched it again this morning, quite violent and slightly disturbing - face off between Wonder Woman and Wolverine. Highlights include

• Still not quite the ending we envisioned. Seriously we're no real fan of the Wolverine, but a volcano would not kill him. It would hurt the hell out of him, but since lava would just burn him and not incinerate him, he should be able to swim out. However, it lava would not result in the ending that Bat-in-the-Sun gave him either.
• Expanded Xavier's Mansion sequence featuring Gambit, Rogue, Jean Grey, Morph and Deadpool.

Gotham City Sirens movie confirmed.

Harley Quinn

Gotham City Sirens the movie is now confirmed and Margot Robbie returns as Harley Quinn under the direction of David Ayers.

A lot of people are actually surprised that David Ayers is returning to direct for DC following all his complaints about internal-manipulations that led to the successful but critically mangled Suicide Squad (Which stands at 26% on Rotten Tomatoes as of today - 1 whole point below Batman v Superman), but did make a whopping US$745 in the box office.

Tomb Raider reboot writer Geneva Robertson-Dworet has signed on to write the Girl-Power Spin-off for DC.

Hopefully we can expect a new Catwoman who isn't Halle Berry.

No release date has been set, but the project is said to be on the fast-track.

Wonder Woman versus Wolverine

YouTube Video geniuses Bat in the Sun, recently released their latest Super-Power Beatdown episode featuring Wonder Woman versus the rabid Wolverine.

AND it was an AWESOME battle of godly propotions!

• Heatwave is proudly a bad-guy among-st the heroes
