Heroes of the Storm: Starcraft James Raynor Action Figure

NECA does indeed delight with this sculpture of the Heroes of the Storm General James Eugene "Jim" Raynor" from the Starcraft video-games.

Now we use the word sculpture because, as you'll soon see, NECA hardly provided him with any articulation.

But given how we've complained about NECA's choice of joints - especially after what happened to our Starcraft November "Nova" Terra figure during her shoot, our expectations on Jim Raynor's pose-ability  wasn't very high.

So we're really fine with referring to him as a sculpture rather than an action figure - though yeah we wish he was an action figure.

NECA Batman Arkham City Harley Quinn

"I promised you some entertainment, right, boys?" 

The NECA Batman Arkham City Harley Quinn is one of the coolest and hottest looking toys from the video game. 

We have mixed feelings about the Batman Arkham City game given that it ended with the death of the Joker - that's not a spoiler, if you don't know that you probably shouldn't be here.

Other than that it was a great game!

And we're quite partial to this particular outfit. Arkham Assylum game us Harley Quinn in a nurse outfit, which does satisfy certain fetishes we may have had, but in our opinion, this red and black punk rock outfit is more fitting for someone who would later command the remains of Joker's Clown Army.

Queen Gorgo from 300

Presenting Queen Gorgo from the Frank Miller's 300 as interpreted by NECA toys. Someone asked me what was my sexiest toy in my collection and it became a toss up between Maris Brood, Shaak Ti, Darth Talon, Shanna the She-Devil, Alley Baggett (Alley Cat), the White Queen from Marvel Select, Black Cat from Marvel Select and Neca's Queen Gorgo.

It was a tough call considering how Black Cat's bosom was popping out of her suit, but because you can actually lift Queen Gorgo's robes and see her in all her anatomically complete glory (Yes she has nipples. Hell turn her around and her butt is hanging out as well), Queen Gorgo rules!
