Marvel just released another video showcasing the continuing plight of the mortal Darryl Jacobson, roommate of the Mighty Thor. Highlights include:
The Odinson is a douche who thinks that he's covered in brains. No wonder he's unworthy.
We think Darryl should be a bit more open here:
If a "god" from another dimension pays you in coin from his realm (They look like buttons, but who knows?) Perhaps you should have the metal tested first. You could be sitting on a fortune. At the very least the Agents of SHIELD will compensate you for them as they "Might be dangerous"
Same thing with the pumpkin - assuming he didn't get it from Earth.
This series really cracks us up and we're looking forward to Part 3 when they get a servant.
We are nerding out and are close to tears thanks to this trailer for the Avenger Infinity War - that has officially begun shooting. Highlights include:
The realization that this epic Marvel Movie journey that began all the way back in 2008 with Iron Man is almost at an end. (Sniff Sniff).
Spider-Man is in Infinity War
The Guardians of the Galaxy will team up with the Avengers
The 2nd Logan Movie Trailer is out from 20th Century Fox and it is fight-fight-fight galore! Highlights include:
Introducing Dafne Keen as X-23. Apparently Sienna Novikov lost out the role of Laura Kinney AKA X-23, and Ana "Ani" Cruz Oliver from the TV show "The Refugees" takes the role.
And she pops her claws - quite violently
There's an X-Men comic book in Logan's universe
Logan really is getting old because X-23 makes him look even older.
iVideos has been kind enough to upload on to their channel, the English dubbed version of the last trailer for the Russian super-hero movie Guardians before it airs in February.
The special effects are not quite up to par with Hollywood - it looks more like a video-game than a movie - but it looks VERY promising! If the world went crazy seeing a Racoon fire off a few rounds, then let's see what happens when a were-bear does it!
Highlights include:
The Guardians
Ler (Sebastien Sisak), the Geomancer.
Ursus (Anton Pampushniy), the mini-gun wielding were-bear
Khan (Sanzhar Madiev): super speed, super strength combined with wicked blades
Xenia (Alina Lanina): An acrobat with the ability to turn invisible and turn his body into liquid form. She also makes a great Borscht.
The bad-guy: August Kratov (Stanislav Shirin): Comes with robot army and uses an exoskeleton that allows him to beat up Ler when he's armored up with rocks, and the balls to challenge a big-Russian Bear to hand-to-hand combat.
The Avengers level of levity - note the bear wags his tail once he's in the elevator.
We'd love to see them go toe-to-toe with the Avengers - even if they're outnumbered.
Transformers the Last Knight has finally released a trailer that is not just filled with explosions. Sadly the trailer is quite confusing and is open to a lot of speculation and guess-works. Highlights include:
Optimus Prime flying off into space alone turned out to be a pretty dumb idea.
A dystopian future Earth?
Unicron?
Nemesis Prime?
The Autobots (Bumblebee) versus some kind of Walker (Drone?)
Bumblebee versus Optimus Prime/Nemesis Prime - as if he stood a chance.
Marvel just released another trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and it is AWESOME!!!
Highlights include:
The Guardians are battling Shuma Gorath!!!! (Well we hope it's Shuma Gorath) Some of them will battle him from the inside. If that is Shuma Gorath, then we have a link to Dr Strange.
Baby Groot is both adorable and scary as hell!
Mantis (Pom Klementieff, Oldboy, Hacker's Game)! With no cleavage whatsoever.
DC and the CW just released the trailer for the Heroes v Aliens: The Dominators, that brings together the Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and the Legends of Tomorrow all into one massive team-up worthy of the Justice League!/
Highlights include:
Looks like it starts in Central City
The Dominators stick to their comic book plot of wiping out everyone on Earth before we become a scourge.
UPDATE: Hot off the heels of the 1st official Ghost in the Shell trailer is this bootleg video from IGN revealing the shelling sequence of the Major. It remains quite true to the original opening sequence of The Ghost in the Shell - with less focus on her breasts - and a dash of Westworld.
Here we go! The first official full length trailer of Ghost in the Shell. This is the trailer posted by Comicbook.com and not by Paramount, as this one includes a greeting from Scarlett Johansson. Here are some of the highlights:
Heavy CGI. Motoko KUsanagi's cybernetic body looks CGI - as if Paramount learned nothing from Green Lantern. Even when she's cracked open, she looks heavily CGIed
That is a beautifully fracked up city. We are in love with the giant holographic advertisements. They definitely brought the city from the anime to life - so why is she white?
Heavy Matrix level CGI
Girl-on-girl action. YAY!!!!
The movie definitely suffers from the inescapable fact that Scarlett Johansson is not Asian. This is probably why she sticks to referring to herself by her rank, rather than her name.
We love the creepy robotic geishas.
"Everything they told you, was a lie.... They did not save your life, they stole it."
So apparently Paramount pictures released a new 13 second trailer for their upcoming controversially white-washed movie "Ghost in the Shell" And either most of nerd-dom has dismissed it as a failure already, or it barely registered and they need to work on their marketing.
Highlights include:
Predator meets the Matrix
Motoko Kusanagi (Scarlett Johansson) appearing for the first time in her cyber-punk full body prosthesis - and kicking ass.
