Marvel Legends Dark Phoenix

Hear me, X-Men! No longer am I the woman you knew!
I am Fire and Life incarnate! Now and forever - I am PHOENIX!

The latest Marvel Legends incarnation of the Dark Pheonix is definitely Fire and Life Incarnate.

We're just hot off Jean Grey #6 which is hinting at the return of the original "older" Jean Grey via her ghost - assuming younger time-displaced Jean Grey is just not insane given that Dr. Strange can't seem to see the entity.

Anyway, this isn't technically Jean Grey, this is the Phoenix in her form.

STAR WARS Legacy of the Force: Darth Krayt / A'Sharad Hett (Part 2)

Presenting Part 2 of our Darth Krayt/Asharad Hett review. This time we will be focusing on the founder of the One Sith Empire - and one of the more expensive STAR WARS 2-pack characters in the market today, Darth Krayt - who retails with Imperial Knight Sigel Dare for as high as US$ 79.95 and is currently available for US$ 55.95 on Amazon (PhP 2,579 plus shipping).

You know? I don't remember how the 2-pack came into my possession though I am 100% sure that I did not pay that much for the pack. If I'm right, I lucked out on the duo and bought Darth Krayt and Sigel Dare at retail price.

Before we begin in earnest, we have to point out that there is some debate as to whether or not Darth Krayt's armor is Vonduun Skerr Kyrric or Vonduun Crab - the biological armor used by the Yuuzhan Vong in the Star Wars universe. It is a definite sure that Darth Krayt is afflicted with Coral Seeds (Yorik-Kul) - biological implants that allow Yuuzhan Vong slaves to  receive mental commands but lose their sentience in the process - and this is seen on Darth Krayt's arms, but his armor?

Personally I think that it is Vonduun Crab because when Darth Krayt activated the Sith Holocron of Darth Andeddu in an attempt to find a solution to his Coral Seed problem, Darth Andeddu forced Darth Krayt's armor to grow to the point that Darth Krayt resembled a Krayt Dragon.

STAR WARS Legacy of the Force: Darth Talon

Presenting from Star wars Legacy of the Force: Darth Talon. Darth Talon is actually a part of a 2-pack along with Cade Skywalker who she apprenticed for a while while Cade Skywalker was walking the Dark Side with the One Sith Empire - despite the fact that he nearly killed her. Cade Skywalker later stabs her through the gut, but she lives, on his way to destroying the One Sith Empire and killing Darth Krayt.

I must say the Dark Side never looked so good.

I mean we've had bad-girls in the Star Wars universe before - well mostly good-girls gone bad (i.e. Princess Leia and her daughter Jaina Solo) - the only hot Dark Side babe I can think of prior to this is Mara Jade (Before she became a Skywalker - RIP). But Mara Jade's action figure is no-where near as hot. Further, Darth Talon "fills" better than Maris Brood and has less clothes on then her fellow Twi'lek Jedi Aalya Secura. The only other Force-user figure (Aside from the Steel Bikini Princess Leia) that I can think of that comes close to this is the Force Unleashed  Jedi Shaak Ti - which we'll review at a future date

If Darth Talon is an example of what the women are like on the Dark Side, then no wonder the Sith numbers swelled.
