| Transformers War Within Optimus Prime and Son |
We're still on a writing hiatus and debating whether or not we shut this blog down, but we had a wonderful conversation with a fellow collector a few weeks back and he said that he encountered a few friends who did not believe that there was a smaller version of the Alpha Pack ST-01 War Within Optimus Prime.
So to his friends, here he is: The Transformers Titanium Series War Within Optimus Prime.

It's actually amazing how similar the two are. The main differences between the two can really be cut down to just size, paint scheme and the retooled front fenders. Personally we actually prefer the rounder, smoother front fenders of the Titanium Series War Within Optimus Prime since the Alpha Pack ST-01 War Within Optimus Prime's was cited by us as being too bulky - they're almost Double D cups - and of course the fact that the Titanium Series War Within Optimus Prime does not have an axe.
However in truck mode, Optimus Prime really need thats broad "ram" of a front in order to crush anything (anyone) that is dumb enough to stand in his way. The Titanium Series War within Optimus Prime's front is just not as scary.
We're going to close with a nice discovery that we stumbled upon during this shoot: The Titanium Series War Within Optimus Prime has an Autobot logo on his upper left hand shoulder.
