Kelly Shaddock is one of the last survivors of the SPARTAN II program of the UNSC - the program that included her closest friend Master Chief John-117.
Spartan Kelly-07 was one of the original members of the Spartan II program Blue Team. Kelly-087 served as the fireteam's scout. She was renown for her unmatched running speed - both with or without her Mjolnir armor.
Spartan Kelly-07 was again with the Blue Team that went AWOL along with Master Chief John-117 in his pursuit of his "reborn" AI companion, Cortana.

The McFarlane Toys HALO 5 Spartan Kelly-087's blister pack reads "Kelly-087 is an elite Spartan-II who played an integral role during the Covenant War and serves alongside the Master Chief as a member of Blue Team. She is an expert in all forms of combat, but has a particular talent for reconnaissance."Kelly-087 comes armed with an M90A variant shotgun and an M6H Personal Defense Weapon System (pistol). Both come with pegs. The shotgun can be pegged to her back while her pistol can be pegged to either leg-thigh.
FIRST: Finally a sexy Spartan!!! Spartan Kelly-087 is the third female Spartan in our collection following the Spartan IV Commander Sarah Palmer and the Spartan III Lt Commander Catherine "Kat" B320, Noble 2. We've talked about how neither of the two Spartans are relatively masculine in their depiction - especially Commander Palmer. Noble 2 at least is physically smaller and leaner, but not as curvaceous as Spartan Kelly-087 who has all the right curves in all the right places.
Or it could be the new armor.

SECOND: Look at the beautiful detailing that went into Kelly-087's Hermes Mjolnir Gen 2 armor - basically an upgrade of her preferred EVA Armor which was tooled for speed. Aside from the weathering and masterful detailing that went into her booster pack, someone actually took the time to pinstripe her armor and custom paint her rifle. And you have to love that insect head looking helmet of the Hermes armor. If you look closely you can see her tag: 087 written in braille over her left chestplate.
THIRD: McFarlane's HALO 5 Spartan Kelly-087's articulation is excellent!

What's to like about the McFarlane Toys HALO 5 Spartan Kelly-087?FIRST: John-117 in armor stands 7'2" tall. Spartan Kelly in armor stands 6'11" in armor. the fact that John is taller than Kelly is evident in the Halo 5: Guardians video game.

SECOND: As with John-117 also does not have a "free" trigger finger. Happily there was no need to saw her trigger finger loose because her M90A variant shotgun does not have a trigger guard. But if you ever want to shift her to another weapon, you will have to saw her trigger finger loose from the rest of her fist.
Other than that? Nothing. She's a fine addition to our growing Blue Team.
