This particular figure recently left the Dungeon, so we decided to give it one last look-over before it left.
This is the Marvel Iron Man 2 4" tall Hulkbuster. This is not the Hulkbuster from the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. This armor is based upon artist Adi Granov's depiction of the Iron Man Model 32 Armor - to which there is some confusion given that it is also referred to as Model 31. The armor first made its appearance in Iron Man vol 4 # 7. Adi Granov changed gave the Model 32 it's distinctive triangle uni-beam.
The Model 32 or 31 is one of five armor made by Tony Stark collectively known as the Argonauts

Marvel Universe Iron Man 2 Hulkbuster's blister pack reads "Tony Stark is always thinking ahead about how best to protect the Earth. One of the dangers that has preoccupied him for years is that posed by the HULK. Stark built the HULKBUSTER IRON MAN armor, an immensely powerful suit designed specifically to take down the HULK and preventing him from threatening the planet."We love:
- How big and hefty he is - he's solid and a worthy looking opponent to the Hulk.

- How his articulation is decent. It could be better, but it could also have been a lot worse. A lot of the articulation is actually hampered by his size. The pauldrons are biggest block. Still. Nice to have a Hulkbuster that can move. He looks even better with a stand.
