Sergeant Bull's primary military specialty is listed as Counterintelligence - which we found to be a bit funny given that, given his size, body mass and bald head, he would stick out like a sore thumb in any counterintelligence operation - unlike say Lady Jaye who can blend in.
The answer is that Bull is probably an Operator: he's the guy counterintelligence sends in - quietly or noisily - when all the back and black door operations have failed.
Or he's GRS - a member of the CIA's Global Respose Staff.
Though we have to admit that we've been watching 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi almost on a loop lately.
Game of Thrones Season 6's Finale The Winds of Winter has finally aired and the biggest reveal that we watched is that Jon Snow (Kit Harrington, Pompeii) is not a bastard! At least he's not Ned Stark's bastard.
Seriously people should not go around - especially in public gatherings - calling someone a bastard, especially while addressing them.
In this case it came from a little ten year old girl - Lady Lyanna Mormont (Actress Bella Ramsey - Everyone's favorite character now.... next to the Cane Corso that ate Ramsay Bolton) - who addressed the Northern council by saying "I don't care if he's a bastard! He's my King!" In one step she basically slaps him in the face then raises him up high.
All in all those I have to say that this is so far the best season of Game of Thrones given the fact that major moves have been made; the board is being cleared, and; some really deserving evil characters have finally had their comeuppance.
It definitely has me watering at the mouth for Season 7.
Marvel Legends Civil War Captain America Action Figure

This is a bit late. The movie is long over nad has crossed into that magical 1B mark. If you've been following this blog then you know that we absolutely loved Captain America Civil War! This particular figure has been sitting in our side-lines for quite some time now, so we decided to feature him.
To those who are wondering, no Captain America did not wear the same uniform that he wore in Captain America the Winter Soldier. You can tell by the glaring lack of red and white stripes in Cap's Winter Soldier costume.

The Game of Thrones Battle of the Bastards is over and a few characters lie dead, a few characters lie wounded and nobody took their clothes off - hopefully there will be revelries in the next episode.
HBO threw a lot of marketing behind this issue, specifically telling viewers that this was an issue that could not be missed and that the battle would be the most epic army battle ever to be shown on television.
Viewers, readers and fans of Game of Thrones saw this episode as the potential redemption for a series that seemed to take delight in coming up with deliciously devious ways of killing protagonists and having evil rule triumphant.
So maybe this time, we thought.
Episode 9 of Season 6 of Game of Thrones actually showcases two battles. Aside from the Battle of the Bastards in Winterfell, there was still the matter of the Assault on the seemingly Khaleesi-less slave city of Meereeen. Just when Meereen starts to recover culturally, economically and psychologically from the ravages of the slave trade, the Masters return, reneging on the agreement that was eked out with Tyrion Lanister, and start to bombard the city into submission.
This episode was directed by Miguel Sapochnik (Repo Men, House M.D.) and was written by David Benioff (Troy, X-Men Origins Wolverine, and husband to the beautiful Amanda Peet) and D.B. Weiss (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Halo)
To the uninitiated, this is Katherine "Kitty" Pryde, one time master of the Soulsword, apprentice to the one called Wolverine, Agent of SHIELD, mother of Brood (Aborted, Wolverine and the X-Men #5 was fracked up), the original mother of a dragon, and the X-Men's resident technical genius who walks through walls. AKA Ariel, Sprite, Cat, Professor K.
Kitty Pryde is the third X-Man we know of to have her powers escalated to cosmic levels - following the Phoenix and Wolverine (We could be wrong), and is currently off-planet serving as the new Star Lord while her ex-fiance of the same name is busy being king of the universe.

To the uninitiated, this is Shiera Sanders Hall occupying the body of Kendra Saunders - a distant relation of hers who committed suicide and whose body was taken over by Shiera Sanders' soul. We're a bit more fuzzy with the history of the Justice Society especially since DC keeps killing them or relegating them to be so unimportant they were all once exiled into "Limbo" where they would fight for an eternity to keep Ragnarok from Earth.
Anyway, in essence this is still the Golden Age Hawkgirl - the one who has lived several lifetimes as she keeps getting reincarnated with her partner Carter Hall (In the comic books, their reincarnations have nothing to do with Vandal Savage).

Soooo this Angelina Jolie figure isn't in Lara Croft's trademark tank-top and short-shorts, as this action figure is based upon the appearance of Lara in Cradle of Life: Specifically when she went diving into the uncovered Luna Temple of Alexandra the Great under the waters next to Santorini island in Greece.
It's in the temple that she finds, fights for, and loses an orb which later will be revealed to be the map leading to Pandora's Box in the Cradle of Life.

Presenting the Star Wars Saga Action figure of Ayy Vida, a bar patron who had less than.... 3seconds of screen time in Star Wars Episode II the Phantom Menace.
Ayy Vida's claim to fame comes from the aforementioned cut scene in Episode II. It happens when Obi-Wan Kenobi walks into a bar - sounds like a joke, but isn't - while pursuing the bounty hunter/assassin known as Zam Wesell.

So Marvel Comics' much publicized Civil War II has hit the shelves this week and we thought we'd lay down some of our thoughts on the matter.
Marvel Civil War II is from the beautiful mind of Brian Michael Bendis (All New X-Men Vol 1), and this particular issue features the art of David Marquez (All New X-Men, The Magdalena); color of Justin Ponsor, and; was edited by Tom Brevoort (New Avengers, Fantastic Four).

Now, the plot has already been revealed - so this is a non-spoiler as far as I'm concerned. This civil war is not as political as the original Civil War. Civil War II revolves around the (re)birth of an Inhuman named Ulysses, with the power to predict the future. Carol Danvers acting as the leader of the Ultimates wants to use the Inhuman to help proactively stop crimes from happening.

Waaaay back in 2002 when PayPal didn't exist, we took a risk on a company called Amazon to purchase an action figure from the United States. This was quite a risk for us because the first time we purchased something from Amazon it never arrived and at that time nobody put their credit card information on-line so there was the hassle of going out to make a bank-to-bank money transfer.
So we were really glad when a few months later Cassandra arrived.
Admittedly though we wanted it because we really loved the Scorpion King and we had a huge crush on Kelly Hu. Sooooo.... risk worth it.
